You’ll stand in the shadow of some of the highest mountains on the planet, including skyscraping giants like Gangapurna , Machapuchare and Himalchuli .
All told, the Annapurna massif is comprised of six distinct peaks reaching higher than 7,000 meters. The mighty Annapurna I clocks in at 8,091 meters, earning it the title of the 10th-highest mountain in the world.
But there’s more to the Annapurna Base Camp Trek than the spectacular scenery alone. This route is often renowned as the best trek in the country when it comes to cultural diversity and the opportunity to become acquainted with Nepali people from a variety of ethnic backgrounds.
The mountain communities here in the Annapurna region are populated by Gurung and Magar villages .We’ll have the chance to spot rare animals like the red panda and Himalayan Monal against a backdrop of lush greenery and shaded forest.
And all the while, craggy peaks, and graceful summits soar over our heads to catch the ethereal quality of light which can only be found here in the rarefied atmosphere of the Himalayas.
From the time you arrive in Kathmandu, the capital and cultural city of Nepal, we will be there at the airport to greet you and take you to your hotel.
Our journey begins with a 6-7 hour drive toward the Pokhara Valley and its beautiful Phewa Tal (lake) and then checking in to your hotel close to Phewa Tal.
After one and half hour drive from Pokhara to Kimche via Nayapul and Birethanti (a tourist checkpoint) we being our trek to Kimche and then continue on to the Gurung village of Ghandruk,which may takes two hours walk
The trek starts by descending down from the Ghandruk village to the Kyuri Khola and then following the trail which leads to Kimrong Danda. On the way, you will pass through the terrace farm and bypassing another hill will take you to Gurung which is the village of Gurung people, with an easy walk to Chomrong at an elevation of 2,170 m. We stay here overnight at a guesthouse.
Today the trail drops down to the Chomrong Khola and again we continue climbing to Khuldighar- 2,380m, where ACAP (Annapurna Conservation Area) check post used to be. As you go higher, you will notice the decreasing of the forest, from where the route travels steeply down to a rocky bank and then running through thickets of bamboo at the bottom of the gorge, keeping always on the west side of the river. We walk through bamboo, then rhododendron forests to the Himalayan Hotel (2920m).
Today’s trek takes us to the Sanctuary (ABC) along a trail that is often covered in snow – depending on the season. We follow the trail that takes us by Hinku Cave and Deurali. From ABC you are blessed with mind-blowing  views of Annapurna I (8091m) an enormous mountain right before your eyes! ABC has several teahouses where we can stop for a break and take in the magnificent views.
After enjoying one of the best sunrise view with 360 degree mountain view we trek back through lush vegetation until we reach Dovan, where we stay for the night.
After Dovan till Bamboo is almost straight and somewhere down after that we have a short climb to Sinuwa Village (2320m) and then on to Chomrong. After a short break at Chomrong we head uphill and then descend to Jhinu Danda. This is an excellent opportunity to relax your tired muscles in the hot spring just below the Modi River. We will stay here tonight.
20 minutes walk from Jhinu Dada to Samrung . Off-road and Pitch road drive from Samrung to Pokhara-Approx 3 hours drive (If guest want to do sightseeing in Pokhara we will provide sightseeing package as per guest’s request)
Today we head back on a 6 to 7 hour drive to Kathmandu with many fond memories of Nepal and its unique culture and geography. These memories will last a lifetime!
