Mardi Himal Trek
Mardi Himal Trek is a trek of 10 days, a newly opened route  that quickly grew in popularity and takes you inside the Annapurna Sanctuary Area, starting from 820-meter Pokhara to 4500m Mardi Himal Base Camp. Even though it is a less famous trekking route than long treks like Annapurna Circuit Trek and Annapurna base Camp Trek, the Mardi Himal Trek offers spectacular views of the Mardi Himal (5,587m) as well as other snow-capped mountains like Annapurna I (8,091m), Annapurna South (7,219m), Machhapuchre (6,997m), and Gangapurna Himal (7,454m), which makes this trek worth every penny. This trek takes you through the routes of Dhampus,Potana,Pittam Deaurali, Forest Camp, Low Camp, High Camp, Badal Danda, Siding and Lumre, depending upon the number of days you choose to trek and the routes available.
Additionally, this trek mostly passes through forests covered with oaks and rhododendrons, so wildlife such as Musk deer, Langurs, other monkeys of various species, Danfe (Lophophorus), and porcupines can be seen during the trek. This trek is a hidden treasure where one can revel in majestic mountain panoramas, encounter wildlife in verdant forests, and traverse rivers and ridges within a single hike.
Itinerary
Upon arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport, welcome by our representative and taken to your hotel.
Our journey begins with a 6-7 hour drive to Pokhara ,After reaching Pokhara ,drive to beautiful village Dhampus wher you can enjoy panoramic mountain view .
The trek today takes us through rhododendron, birch, mountain oak, maple, hemlock, and daphnia shrubs (red & white flowers also known as the paper plant). The overnight stay among the forest is very enjoyable and relaxing.
Today you will notice the change in vegetation with more cloud and moisture causing the trees to be covered in moss and lichen, with orchids clinging to the trees. It is cooler and has a more jungle feel. Occasionally you can catch a glimpse through the trees of the snow-capped mountains, such as Mt. Machapuchare, Mardi Himal, and the Annapurna Ranges.
After an early breakfast, we head out to the highest point on this trek where you will have to get accustomed to the higher altitude. The majestic peaks look close enough to touch. The massive face of the mountain highlights the enormity of Mardi Himal (5587m). We will go a little higher during the day to get a better appreciation of these enormous peaks before heading back to High Camp in the evening.
After enjoying the sunrise and a warm breakfast, we embark from High Camp to Mardi Himal Base Camp (4,500m) via the viewpoint where you can enjoy mountain vistas and other views. Our trail today takes us through shaded forest and past the terraced farmland. It is all downhill and not so strenuous, but descends nearly 1400 meters before reaching Low camp.

Siding Village is also known for its honey-catchers who hang off ropes and extract honey from the cliffs above the village.
From Siding you walk out to the road head at Lumre,on the way from Siding you will pass the villages of Kalimati and Ghalel. We will drive back to Pokhara from Lumre.Evening sightseeing around Pokhara.
Today we head back on a 6 to 7 hour drive to Kathmandu with many fond memories of Nepal and its unique culture and geography. These memories will last a lifetime!

- Tips for the guide, porter, and driver (tipping is expected)
